Reunion (Death of a Snowflake)

I love it when you tell me

i‘m unlike anyone you‘ve ever seen.

My dress appeals to your mind

as it truly is one of a kind.

No matter where you looked

under every stone you shook,

you even searched heavenly ground

but my Doppelganger was still to be found.

Now i‘m racing my kin,

while you lift your chin

and smile with grace.

The cold ricochets off your warm & red face.

You dare to open your eyes

and the world stops with all its cries.

I open my arms, brace for impact while all i see

are your eyes latched onto me

You caught me in your arm

while everything turned warm

All i saw was blue

as i melted right into you.
